Originally from Bangalore, Dino Morea moved to Mumbai in 1996 to participate in the prestigious Gladrags Manhunt Contest, where he was declared the undisputed winner. He then went on to win second place at the International Manhunt Contest, post which there was no looking back.
Flooded with offers for ramp shows and press advertisements, he not only got a chance to work with the top designers of the country, but he bagged illustrious endorsements for brands including Colgate, Live-In Jeans, Polo, Red Tape Shoes, 7-UP, Siyaram's abd Bisleri. He also appeared in music videos for a host of artistes including Bali Brahmbhatt. Alisha Chinai and Abhijit. Looking to expand his horizons in the entertainment arena, Dino starred in the young and hip 'Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi'. Though the film failed to make a mark, Dino caught the eye of Mukesh Bhatt, who saw great potential in the young man and introduced him to Vikram Bhatt who was then casting for 'Raaz'. Raaz, a contemporary, psychological thriller delivering into the paranormal realm, required a charismatic protagonist and Dino fit the bill perfectly. After the pheonomenal success of the movie, Dino was seen in some more thrillers including Baaz, a bird in danger, Sssshhh, Rakht, pooja Bhatt's Holiday, Vikram Chopra's 'Fight' Club' Anant Mahadevan's 'Akshar' and Dharmesh Darshan's 'Aap Ki Khatir'. Bio:
Born in Canada and raised in Paris, France, Abbas Hasan is the latest pop sensation to hit the Asian music scene. Abbas speaks French, English, Hindi and Urdu fluently, and his sexy heartthrob image has led to headlines such as "Lock up your daughters!" In less than a year of working with Rishi Rich Productions, Abbas has has already released two chart-topping singles, been named Bachelor of the Year by Asian Woman Magazine and made it to the list of top ten most good-looking Asian male models in the UK. But clearly that's not enough, as most recently Abbas was covered in national Indian press (Indian Express, The Hindu, Deccan Chronicle, etc) for starring in the controversial new south Indian film "Mazhavillinattam Vare" (Beyond the Rainbow’s Edge), directed by two-time Filmfare Award Winner Kaithapram Namboothiri. The film features a league of Indian world cup cricketers including Robin Singh, Kapil Dev and Syed Kirmani, and had also originally cast cricket player Mohommed Asif but then replaced him after match fixing allegations. The film is due to release soon this year and Abbas stars as the lead. Since completing filming Abbas is back in London putting finishing touches on his hotly awaited debut album with producer Rishi Rich, known for his work with artists including Jay Sean and Britney Spears. The press are already calling Abbas Hasan the next big thing, to which Abbas replies “it’s flattering and I think every artist has their own soul and their own journey. For me it’s all about creating art and taking on projects that inspire me.”
